My shoes arrived today!

Finally! After much pondering between models, running in circles (in Belgium and Holland) trying to find the suitable boots for the expedition, getting good and bad advice, I finally decided to order a pair of Batura. They still had to be the right size. Which they are :).

This, added to the crampons and tent lended by a nice Frenchman, is a cornerstone of a safe and enjoyable high altitude trip. I'm eager to try them up there!
